Amazing to be a finalist in Women Leaders Awards 2025 in the hashtagNoneOfTheAbove and to spend time at MK:U for the interview this morning!
What a huge honour to have my mental health journey recognised in this way!
My story isn’t just a script, it’s a mirror and people see themselves in my story: my talk, my book, my exhibition and take away hope that they can rebuild their life and career after serious mental illness.
I share my story so other young people don’t have to suffer like I did.
As women we can lead powerfully because of our lived experiences, not in spite of them, and by sharing our vulnerabilities we open a safe space for others to do that too.
Thank you to Women Leaders for the recognition and for all you do to inspire women and girls to be confident leaders, and to everyone who has supported me on this path, especially my family, friends and business community who remind me daily to keep going, even when I question myself.
