Delivering my keynote at Denbigh School

This morning, I had the privilege of delivering my talk with 240 Sixth Formers at Denbigh School Assembly, sharing my journey of navigating mental illness and rebuilding my life and career.

These conversations aren’t always easy, but they are so important. Young people face immense pressures, and too many struggle in silence, believing their challenges define their future.

My message to them was simple: there is always hope. No matter what you are struggling with, remember who you are and hold onto yourself.

Life can and does change.

Thank you to Jonathan Burgess and the Denbigh School team for welcoming me and for this kind feedback:

“This really is a difficult topic to discuss, but you manage to do this so succinctly and delicately. I know that this will be very thought-provoking for the students and enable them to have hope, even in their darkest times.”

If even one student walked away today feeling a little lighter, a little more hopeful, then it was worth it.

Get in touch if you would like me to come and speak to your sixth form!
